Eleine’s Exibit Print is a family owned business, founded in 1996 by Eleine and Blikkies Blignaut. Blikkies started in the printing industry in 1986, what was then known as National Book Printers as an estimator, where he also successfully completed the Advanced Production Planning Course. Management then moved him over to the marketing division where he was selling the services of National Book-, National Commercial-, and National Computer Forms. Any printed item, ranging from Bibles, Books, Annual Reports or Continuous Stationary was handled as part of these companies. In 1990, he joined the sales force of Associated Printing, where he was also exposed to Carton Work, Point of Sale items, Prestige Presentation Packs and Holders for the Cigarette and Wine industries.
From humble beginnings, with a single colour, (and later), a two colour press in a double garage at home, Eleine and Blikkies built this small printing company into a story;vibrant print supplier to blue chip clients. From the start Eleine took over the financial role and Blikkies`s responsibility was sales and production. Together they lived and worked their business motto: PROUDLY PRODUCED BY US
Over the years Exibit Print, in order to keep up with evolving technology, acquired four colour and five colour presses, computer to plate machines and finishing equipment. This was a necessity to produce, not only commercial printed items, but also packaging printed material. Management also imported an automated laminating machine during the first quarter of 2011. This ensured the company to quickly and perfectly laminate printed sheets to open or closed corrugated fluted sheets. They also bought a seam gluing machine with crash-lock facilities to service the carton market.
It has always been the vision of Eleine and Blikkies to create jobs that will assist people in nearby local communities.
